Wear real veil to hair trial?
Is it safe to bring my real veil? At my first trial I brought a cheap veil that I bought from Wal Mart b/c I was nervous something would happen to my real one. Anyone with experience?

Re: Wear real veil to hair trial?
I would say bring the real one. I don't think for the few minutes you try it there should be a prob.
I want my hair dresser to know how to work with mine

Re: Wear real veil to hair trial?
I wouldn't. veils are pretty fragile. you can buy a cheap one at AC Moore for the trial.

Re: Wear real veil to hair trial?
I didn't have my veil or tiara at the trial, which is fine because the crazy lady did a completely different hairstyle on my wedidng day...so the trial was useless!

Re: Wear real veil to hair trial?
My veil wasn't in yet (on order) so my bridal salon gave me a loaner to take to the trial. If I did have my actual veil I think I would have worn it though....shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Wear real veil to hair trial?
definitely bring your real veil. I did and my hair guy made me have it put onto a smaller comb because with the style I had the original comb stuck out on the sides. I would not have known that if I didn't have my real veil with me!

I completely agree. I had three veils (One blusher, one fingertip, one cathedral, I *am* a princess after all) and my hair dresser had to know what to do with them! She advised me as to what to do about all three combs (which was to have my seamstress attach the cathedral to the fingertip's comb with snaps, and it worked GREAT).
I think it's important to have it worked out, and worse comes to worse if you don't just talk to them about it at a later date.
