photographer vent
hi guys! got my proofs back today and i just need to vent... i can do this on here cause the wedding was in south jersey so its not anyone you guys will be using...
first off, it took him almost 2 months to get me the proofs- fine, whatever- he does this on the side and has a family... i can't fault him too much for that.
the proofs look great, but its the way he gave them to me. i understand he needs to protect his copyright of the pictres so that i can't go to walmart and make copies, but he WAAAY overprotected himself!! its gonna be impossible to pick the ones for the album. he gave me a DVD with a slide show of the pics with a music background and there is no way to flip through the pics one by one at my own pace to "analyze" them to see the ones i want in the album! he also gave me a booklet with the images, but its like a magazine with the pics maybe 2 inches big, so they really aren't perfectly clear.
like i said, i'm happy with the pics, just not how he completely overprotected his images to the point where it makes it hard for me to pick my album shots.
ok thats it! just needed to vent and give you ladies a heads up that you need to be 100% clear on how the proofs will be given to you!

I don't really understand that... we get proofs AND negatives AND our pics on a CD! I would say something...

can you pull the photos out of the menu for the flip album ? it isnt hard to do
just pull the enitre file and put in it a my photos album - then you can look at them all you want
