OOT guest bags question
Ok, I am totally ignorant on this, but....
If you want OOT guest gift bags in the hotel rooms, how do they get there? Who puts them in the rooms? How do they know who is with the wedding? Do only people who booked through the room block get them? How do you know how many to give to the hotel? What about people who book at different hotels on their own?

I believe you leave them w/ the hotel and when the guests check in they get one from the person behind the desk. I believe if you blocked the rooms then they are willing to tell you how many rooms were blocked.

yes... that is what they normally do.. you drop them off to the hotel..

Only the people that book in your hotel block get them, there's no way to track anyone else unless you specifically no the hotel and then you can leave them there for them too.
You bring the bags to the hotel like a couple of days before the wedding and they will put them in the rooms or hand them out as guests check in.

Yeah, I was told the same thing to bring them a few days earlier, which is fine with me. Don't want to be traveling with 50 baskets, overnight bag, dress, make-up, etc. One less thing to worry about the day of.

Totally, I was relieved know that we could drop off beforehand too. Plus, they are not going to want to deal with me that morning trying to organize 50 gift bags!
