Hello from North Carolina!!!
Hi all! We made it down! 
We got the Uhaul on Tuesday... drove down Wednesday - into THursday am... unloaded Thursday... and have been straightening things up since. This morning, I just dropped of DH to his new area Starbucks for work and I'm back home trying to find myself a job. 
So far things are very nice here... the property we live at is real nice, has a pool, gym, library, car wash area... we have a 2bed/2 bath apartment and a garage  The property is very well maintained - and everyone is really nice.... it doesn't hurt that the rent is cheap too 
So how is everyone else doing?! How's the weather on LI... I have some catching up to do

WOW sounds like a great set up!!!  Congrats!!! Did you see on the newlywed board that bunnymonkey moved down there too???? Who knows - maybe you are near each other!

ANNIE!!! I almost put out an APB...I've missed you on here!!! I can't believe you've moved already! Did you guys sell your co-op in Oakdale? How's married life been? More importantly...how that handsome pup Charlie?!

Hi!!! Miss you too hun!!
I know! It went so fast!! We haven't sold the co-op yet I'm very sad about that. I really hope it goes soon - I could use the cash 
Married life is really not much different then dating life - except I'm now his "wife" when I get introduced to people! lol
Charlie is doing GREAT! He was so good on the long ride down - I was a little scared, but there was no way he could have been better behaved
