So pissed off-vent-updated at bottom

Sears was coming today to fix my fridge cause it was warm, they canceled just now. My DH is home all day waiting for him and he canceled and the soonest they can come out again is Aug 9!!!!!!!

I had to throw out all of the food. This happened last year, same problem and they came and it took two times to fix it. Again I had to throw the food away. I screamed at them and made them pay for the food I had to throw out. So this will be 2 weeks with no fridge!!!! AAAAARGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Is your fridge under a service contract with Sears? If not, call someone else.

Bumping for the update..

So Sears is coming today to fix the fridge only the tech will be here between 8 and 5. Yeah, that narrows it down!

So I called to speak to a human and found out that there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to a manager, the tech...yadda..and they took my info and someone will call me back. It's now going on 2 weeks with no fridge. I had to throw out all the food and this is a problem that happened last year too. It took them 2 times to fix it.

It is under warranty with Sears so I don't want to go somewhere else.

So, I'm waiting for the manager and the tech to call me back. My DH is home waiting for the tech and has to leave by 3pm and we are number 7 on a list of 11 today. The last time the tech canceled we were 7 on a list of 9 and he had to cancel because he ran over with an emergency.

I'm so frustrated...thanks for listening.

I think I'll call them every 1/2 hr until they give me what I want...

I hate Sears.

Did that make you feel better?

I don't mind shopping there, but I hate their harassing phone calls - I refuse to give them my home # now for my credit card. They can call you a billion times to sell you stuff, but you can't get them to come for service? That stinks!

I've had good experiences with Sears. But how they'r etreating you suxx. Are you eligible for them to reiumburse you $250 for food? No one should have to go that long without a fridge!!!!!!

Well last year it broke as well and they reimbursed me and that was like pulling teeth. I finally called the corporate offices to complain and they put a call out to the tech to do my fridge next. We'll see if they make the deadline. I told them, if they don't make it to my house in time that will be the same as not being able to fix it and they will have to buy me a new fridge (yeah I'm tough, let's see how I do)

Since this happened last year in Sept they said I can't get reimbursed again unless it's after 12 months..(hmmm, that doesn't work for me)

I told them I'm ready to go pick out my new sub-zero tomorrow. I know the model I want already and it's not a Kenmore!

I have a migraine I'm so annoyed.
