I wish I had pics to post! I am using National Floral for my personal flowers. Anna the floral designer showed me all of the flowers that will be in my bo-k's. They have gorgeous flowers especially the black magic roses. I cannot wait until the wedding to see everything. I will be sure to post them here after October 2nd!

Great idea! Although this resizing biz is not my forte Maybe Leena can post mine when she gets a chance.
OK girls, I'm admitting to some sneaky business..when I saw Christine's sample the other day,I just knew I was going to love NFW. All my ideas for the wedding flowers were well over my original budget which I came to realize and it made me kinda depressed. I'm a big flower lover and just knew I wanted to splurge. But....FI was sticking to ORIGINAL budget -stupid me for fixing myself into a certain $$-
Soooooooo... I dragged him around to get flower quotes with me,we went to places I aready had experience with,lets just say some I knew did crappy work...others were waaaaaaay overpriced. When we went to the last and final place NFW,whom I secretly wanted to use all along even though the quote was for double the ORIGINAL budget...he was soooo overwhelmed by the quality and Anna's service (2 meetings w/ us each over 2 hours) that we booked and paid in full right on the spot!
Driving back home to Queens last night he was tooting his own horn saying "HE" had a great feeling about NFW and how "HE" saved us a bundle of money... hee,hee,hee... (my reply) Yes Dear

I've booked NFW too, but I never had them do a sample. Will they still do one closer to my wedding if I ask them to? I wasn't sure of exact colors when I booked them.

OMG, I almost cried when I saw all my flowers. I only have pics from friends, none showing centerpieces yet, but check them out!!

NFW brides:

Will NFW do an archway? Are any of you using them for that? And ... will they do decorations other than CPs at the reception? If we get pushed inside for our ceremony bc of weather I will need tulle put in rows near some windows that have an ugly view of the parking lot...

I plan on meeting with them, but am planning from out of state and won't be there for a few weeks, but would appreciate any info you girls could give me now.

Of course they can do archways. I'm having her do a whole gazebo,walkway,columns,tulle, the works. If it rains,so be it,plan B inside,same set-up.

I had the archway done for the gazebo and it was beautiful. I believe it was $350 because of the time she has to be there to put it up. It was so worth it. I got so many compliments.

I didnt even do a sample, nor did I need one She was AWESOME! PERFECT! I just showed her some pics and she did exactly what I wanted :)

I am sure that Anna will do a sample for you. Once you decide on your colors and flowers. She is absolutely wonderful. They did a sample for me and even gave me a sample of my bm bouquet for me to think about because I am insanely indecisive!

They'll definitely do a low sample CP...they'll do it for anything - even a bok if you'd like.

As far as the color scheme - gorgeous! It'll turn out beautifully.

I got a sample CP made after I booked - but that was just a deposit, and Anna said it was fully refundable in case I decided to go with someone else. Fortunately, I loved it and couldn't believe the size of it, that I didn't have to go elsewhere.

I was a National Floral bride. Ann was for the most part professional with us and worked with our budget. I loved the colors of the flowers and Anna was helpful in matching the flowers to our BMs outfits etc. She was also accomodating in letting us use candles in our CPs that we purchased.

On my wedding day, I felt as if the bouquets were on the small side, she had put a green leaf of some sort on my bouqet when I had said I didn't want any greenery.

The wreaths were pretty but they looked nothing like the sample I was shown. I was to have an arrangement in my flower girl baskets and all they got were petals. I complained after the wedding, and Anna said this wasn't the case even after reading the contract. And then she started saying that she gave us a really good deal (financially) on our package, but I don't see how this makes up for the missing flowers in the 3 flower girl baskets. It was a $20 issue so I just dropped the subject. I wanted arrangements and petals in the baskets for the pictures.

I don't have a review on the boards yet but I posted some of the pictures on this thread

I see that some of the brides had a personality conflict with Anna. Another good florist that I found was Linden Florist. Although I did not book with her, and she isn't a LIW vendor, I recommend her highly. She has very competitive prices with National Floral.

Did they state the number of flowers for the BOK's for you? If so, and you received less - I would have fought it.

I had Anna state exactly how many flowers will be in each bok and CP and on the pew bows.
