what to wear to an engagement party
My fh friend is having an engagement party and I don't have a clue what to wear. I've never been to one before. They are having a destination wedding, so this one is in a hall (like a VFW) w/ a DJ and stuff. I don''t know how formal or informal I'm supposed to be. I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I just don't want to over/under dress.

you can wear anything really! id just avoid jeans

I probably go with a cute day dress or a nice skirt/top. Maybe some nice sandals to make the outfit a little more 'dressed up'
