I saw in your profile that you want o go to Hawaii - I would too  Are you using a travel agent? I plan to go in early September. I'm worried that it will be too expensive, so I am looking for a back up.
Best quote I got was $5200 for 10 days, at Oahu, Kaui, and Maui. Outrigger Hotel in Oahu, and the Hyatts for Kaui/Maui.
I did get a Tahitian Cruise quote and I think Im steering in that direction.

Okay - that isn't terrible. But it doesn't include dining or activities. Hmmm.... For the Tahitian cruise, where do you depart?
FH is not a great flyer, so I really had to work some magic to get him to commit to Hawaii. I doubt he would do Hawaii.

Ah that's okay, I don't think there's a September board yet, but who knows maybe there is??
Right now still looking into limos and florists, have an appt on Thursday for that, but thinking of putting things on hold until I find another job!!!!
Besides, everyone tells me I have plenty of time between now and then, and I'm sure I'll have another job before our next payment is due at JT, (which is November, thank GOD I didn't lose my job last week when we paid them an installment!!)
Narrowed down the BM dress and color, but all my BMs are still driving me nuts. Now my MOH is giving me a hard time about choosing satin.....argh

I went through the same thing with my BM's - and my MOH was driving me up the f'ing wall!
She didn't think that the original black tea length JH dress was "formal" enough - HUH??? It's black!
Anyway, I dragged their arses to RK Bridal, told them to only look at "Jim Hjelm , Bill Levkoff and another designer, (I just can't remember who.)
Well, needless to say, they picked out four dresses each, and then saw the nightmare that other BM's were going through (putting on all dresses that another Bride was giving them in various shades of Xmas Green) - and each of those BM's just smiled, shutup, and put the dress on w/out saying JACK!
Once my BM's saw that...I smiled, and they said "Okay, sorry...we get the point." We ended up picking that day, the dress is gorgeous, has my stamp of approval, and the other BM's were fine.
As other brides on here (so right) have said....put your foot down! Don't give them a choice!

I am going today to get them laminated...I have the magents already. Is that how you do them?? I bought a pack of purple shaded cardstock. I hope they come out ok

I didn't laminate. I stuck the magnets to the card using double stick tape - didn't ruin the back of the magnet and was easy to take off, but stayed on well.

i just printed mine out onto photo paper and used the sticky magnets... not lamination needed!
