UPDATED:
Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!
WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. As we start to stray from the boards I will remember how you all helped me and we were going through the same things together. Thanks! Congratulations Newlyweds!!!!!!!!

I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours...
Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out.
Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting.
I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though.
oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.

What is everyone else up to?

I guess I'm only maybe halfway through or 1/3 of the way through with planning??!!

Dress - Deposit placed last month, will be coming in around New Years. But now I have to go on Sunday because there may be a problem with the hollow to hem crap.....

Tiara, Veil - Tri-County, all for $150 total

Photographer - Christina Bohn, found her through a recommendation on this site!!

Hall - Jericho Terrace

Hair - Jenn The Hair Genie - enough said

Makeup - Oksana, again enough said

Hotel - Wingate Inn, Garden City, but have a reserveration at the Smithtown Sheraton as a backup right now

Invites - Doing myself courtesy of Michael's kits for $75!!

Shoes, Unity Candle Holder, Yankees Garter - EBAY, baby!!!

Undergarments - Macy's but not crazy about it

Jewelry - 35th and 6th in Manhattan at this small Korean shop - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! You can find the same type of jewelry as the bridal salons for a LOT less!! They also carry hair pins, tiaras, veils, BM jewelry, etc for dirt cheap but looks like you spent a lot more!!!

I think that's all I have done right now.

We're looking into DJ's and Limos right now.
Going BM shopping this Sunday for yellow dresses.
Not even thinking about a florist until after the BM dress is selected.
HM we're still debating on. FH doesn't want any long flights.
Favors I have no idea yet. I have a white, silver and yellow theme going and it's spring. So there are some options.

Any ideas on placecards?? Maybe flower shaped placecards??

We still have a lot left to do!! The next few deposits are now up to me since FH left the last 3!!

Yay!! Got one more thing off the list....booked our DJ!!!

Now onto limos, and I may have narrowed the BM dresses choice. I'm going tomorrow with my MOH and my Jr. BM to take a look. One of my BM's has been put on bedrest. After the BM dresses are picked, I can move on to a florist.

Now I gotta tackle the location for the photos. Having a hard time finding a place that will charge less than $150.

Anyone else still feel like they're way behind all the other brides who are getting married after us and yet have everything done??

Hi Everybody!! I just can't believe how much there is to do. I feel like we have been running around like crazy and we still have tons to do. I got my dress as well as the BM dresses ordered. I got the Florist (Burtons). I am still undecided about photographer/video. I love the list that CTarantino posted! Thanks!

I sat down and went through past bride reviews and bios on theknot.com, and realized that there are so many things to do, that i didn't even think of....heavily so w/arts & crafts, such as the placecard votives, slipper baskets, bathroom baskets, kids table activities, list after lists, etc....it never ends!

I'm sure we'll help each other out and work through it all together!

. . . although on another board someone mentioned something re: possibly needing placecards for Eastwind, which I was not expecting since when we booked we were told it wasn't necessary. So, I might be adding to my list

Hi,

Dress ordered - should be in mid-October

Hair - Doing a trial on September 2 with a family friend

Make-up : Trial on September 9th

Eng party - September 10th at my sister's house

Flowers - Meeting with her to pick the style I like on September 10th

DJ : Already booked

Transportation : Waiting until January (want to use the ppl that my sister used , they said I need to call in Jan - after they jack up their prices for the new year :)

Bridesmaids Dresses : Will be picked out in the next few weeks (using Latte color from David's Bridal)

Reception Hall : Booked

Photographer : Stepmom's sister is a professional photographer

What else? Oh yeah, I am gonna be the biggest BRIDEZILLA ever, can't wait
