Hi August Brides!!
Who has not yet ordered their dress?? I booked my first appt on August 20 (my one year mark) and now I am afraid that it wont be enough time...what do you think b/c I have no idea what to expect!

it usually takes around six months or so unless you buy an eve of milady which I know it takes longer. you should be fine, though.

Im wearing an Eve of Milady. I was told it takes about a year to come in too, so hopefully by January-February, I can go for my 1st fitting.

Hey Girls!! What is everyone up to??We have all officially passed our one-year mark (Happy Pre-Anniversary to you all!!), so what is left?
I have finished:
Venue
Officiant
Band
Photographer
STD
I have an appt to buy my dress next week (YAY!!!)
I have appts with florists this weekend
I am waiting for samples from two videographers
And I am thinking about hair and make-up!!
Still so much to do! Good thing I LOVE Planning

Yes.. Congrats to all of us.. We passed our 1-year mark!! Yippeee!!! I posted what I still have left to do in a previous post.. Tomorrow Im meeting my girls at the bridal salon to have them measured.
We can FINALLY say that we have less than a year until our weddings!!!

I am feeling like I don't have much done,for getting married in less than 1 year, but everyone is telling me that I did a lot already! I have the exact same things left to do as SI Bride06!! It is still very exciting though..

We starting the design of our STD bookmark, we met with one photographer and have a meeting with a second today. I am going to my first bridal salon next weekend.
Caterer is booked
Rental company is booked
Next month we book Pedestals
When are you guys sending out your STD's (if using)?

Im not using STD's because I haven't yet compiled a guestlist yet. Besides that, getting addresses from my FMIL is like pulling teeth, She will only give me drama saying that its too early  to decide who Im inviting. whatever. I rather avoid dealing with her sometimes.

I have a reception site and am narrowing down my dress choice (2 finalists). I also prelim. picked out my BM dress, and my brother is paying for our photographer. That's it. I am having a bit of a conflict since I want to do a beach theme, but the BM dresses and invites I like are a pomegrante color. :( also, I wanted to do sand dollar christmas ornaments as save the dates, but I just don't think they will match the formalness (is that even a word??) of the invites. YIKES! Any suggestions ladies?
