So the work friend finally gave me a gift but its a 5 finger discount gift.
This girl that I work with finally has given me her gift a month and half after my wedding. It 2 frames that she took out of the sample room where I work, unwrapped and thrown in a bag. This is so wrong and hurtful at most bc she really gave it no thought whatsoever. BTW she has money she buys 2 pairs of designer shoes every week. What is it about weddings that brings out the negative side of people??
My plan is to write a thank you in like 5 months.

I second the idea of writing her thank you on note paper from work. Better yet, send her an email!!!
That is by far one of the most thoughtless gifts I have ever heard of someone getting. She should be embarrassed.
You know what? After thinking about it. I've changed my mind... Send her a thank you and drop her like a BAD HABIT!!!

When I opened it I could not believe my eyes. The worst part is that these frames usually come in these really great green boxes for storage but she not even put in that, she just threw it into the bag with the tissue paper (also from work). The audacity of some people, my says not to send a thank you. I just don't get it, I don;t want to start a wa bc she is a "work friend" but I would love somebody in the office to know. That is by far the tackiest thing ever, so unthougful. I would be happier if it was a piece of junk she had wrapped nicely and had given it on time. The worst part is she asked me for my shipping address 1 month before the wedding. I don;t think she ever intended on giving me a gift.
I probably will just not write a thank you since I sent her one for coming to the wedding, whcih she says she did not receive (yah right). So weird bc I thought she was a really nice girl.

Write her a Thank You note saying "Thank you for the thoughtful gift"...its going to make her feel like $hit...but then again, she had no scrutiny in giving you a gift like that...but still dont scoop to her level...I can't believe people...
