Big day today... (updated)
I am beginning my search for a bridal gown today!! I am so excited. My mom, my sister (MOH), and I are heading out to Lillette's in just about half an hour. Later this afternoon, we're going to the Bridal Salon at Macy's in Manhasset.
I've been doing my homework...I have a whole list of Maggie Sottero gowns that I want to try on at Lillette's. I wish we were already there!
If I find anything, I'll post some pics later!
UPDATE: I found THE DRESS!! It's from the Demetrios Princess Collection. I tried on so many beautiful dresses today that I really didn't think I'd find "The One"...but when I put it on I just knew. It makes me feel like Cinderella! I can't wait to go back and see it again! Hooray!
Here's a pic of the dress from the Demetrios website. This picture IN NO WAY does the dress justice. I will post some pics of me in the dress later on this week when I go to order it.

congrats!!
something to keep in mind--i went to macy's and then wound up buying my dress from lilettes. macy's i MUCH more expensive than other stores. Lynbrook bridal quoted me a price on a demetrios that was over $200 cheaper for the EXACT same dress! and i know burton's discounts too.
you might want to call around because i'm sure you can find it cheaper than macy's. btw...that was one of the dresses i had loved!
