My reception ended at 6 - we went back to the GCH, changed, ate, spent some time together and then met everyone (who was interested) at the Club that evening and partied until closing!!! Boy did we regret that when we had a 9am flight the next morning!!!

I was thinking of doing the same..but everyone is like..."uhmm don't you want to be alone with you new husband." I just don't want the wedding to end...but I am sure we will want to rest and stuff

Our reception ends at 5:30pm, but we dont want to end the day that early. We are going back to the hotel to party w/ family, OOT guests, and whoever else wants to come along.

My problem is that my reception ends at 5:30 and my mom and his mom are having people back at their own respective houses. I dont want to have to split the night up, and I dont want to go to a club becasue I just dont feel that it is very "wedding like". I was thinking of ahving everyone backt to the hotel bar and just hang out, but Im not sure.

that's what we did and we had an awesome time!! let the parents do what they want and you do what you want..it worked out well for us.

I was looking for a local beach where we could take a few more pics and just hang out, then go back to the hotel hopefully, just us, but if anyone wants to follow us thats cool too.
