RP from BHB: Has anyone ever bought a Priscilla of Boston Gown?
What was the experience like and if you don't mind saying how much did you pay for the gown? Or at least what was the price range? I LOVE her ballgowns but I'm afraid they're going to be out of my budget.

I don't know but I think they are  .
I believe they have a store in Roslyn or somewhere near there.

I don't know but I think they are .
I believe they have a store in Roslyn or somewhere near there.
She's right, there's a store in Roslyn, but I did not go there or try on her gowns but I hear they are of very high quality. I'm not dure of the pricing though. I do believe that David's Bridal bought out Pricilla, but they are operating it separately from their David's line.

Thanks for the info about Davids buying them out. I'd never heard of that before.
I know they're out there I'm just used to having girls respond very quickly. I guess you could say I'm spoiled!!

I would go and check it out anyway, MOST bridal salons don't want to lose a sale and they work the pricing with you...let us know how it goes!

a friend of mine bought her dress there and we got the bridesmaid dresses there.. it is a bit expensive and when i was asking about gowns b/c i just got engaged they were a little snotty.. but they they were soo nice when we were picking up our dresses.... go figure..

A friend of mine had a POBoston gown...she confessed the other night it was $3000. I forgot where she got it, but it sounds as though the girls have given you some good recs. Have you tried Maggie Sottero? Some of her gowns are "Priscilla-esque".

Honestly, I haven't even started looking. All I've done so far is window and magazine shop. I've just noticed that I seem to be coming back to the same designers over and over again.
