Has anyone ever bought a Priscilla of Boston Gown?
What was the experience like and if you don't mind saying how much did you pay for the gown? Or at least what was the price range? I LOVE her ballgowns but I'm afraid they're going to be out of my budget.

I didn't buy my gown there but I did look there. All of the gowns I tried on were $3K + but the woman helping me kept assuring me that they would work with me on the price since it was more than I wanted to spend.

It's good to know they will try to work within someones budget. I really didn't want to go over 2K is that even possible??

A friend of mine bought her dress there last year. Her dress was absolutely gorgeous!!!!! She paid $2200. Im not sure how much she paid in alterations, but she was not happy with the alterations and neither were the bridesmaids that also purchased their dresses there.

I went to the Roslyn store and the sales woman was wonderful there. I am not wearing a PofB gown (I fell in love with a Monique Lhulier instead) but I am wearing a PofB veil. It is my mom's from her marriage to my dad 30 years ago. As for prices and things, they have the Maggie Sweet line and the PofB line. The MS line is slightly less than the PofB line. Both were sold within the past year or so to David's Bridal but they are not sold in the DB's. I can say they have good range of sizes to try on, and they will customize things for you so if you do not like a top they can make it look like a different dress and they will change the fabric or lace pattern for some of the dresses as well. That costs a lot of $$$. I know that they have gowns from about $2,000 to about $6,000 and they may go up more but that was the range I tried on. They will also give your BMs a discount if you purchase your dress from them.
I thought the sales women were very nice and they spend over an hour and a half with you on your first visit. They also try to get a vision of your ideal dress. So they do not let you see all the dresses they have.

I wore a PoB dress (from the Roslyn Store) mine was a special order as they made the dress with a high neck but many people get it made strapless.
I had no issues with them and I was very happy and had no problems with my alterations
At the time I purchased my dress they ranged from 2-5k (mine in the 4-5k range)
Etd to add their website says gowns range from 1800-6k

I bought a Priscilla of Boston gown. The women there are absolutely wonderful. My gown was the first one i tried on and I loved it. The saleswoman made me try more on, but kept on going back to that one. My gown is 4k, but I bought it during a trunk sale so they took 10% off. It's on the pricey side, but my mom even said, "that's you."
