Spinoff to Wedding Dress Date Fibbing *Early Arrivals*

Gals who fibbed about their wedding date by a few weeks, and if your dress came in super early, how did you handle? Did you go through your fittings, then store it at home? Did you need to get it pressed again? Any details would be great, thanks!

You could say you changed the date and forgot to inform them. What are they gonna do..ask for proof?

Or just play dumb and say.."you guys have the wrong date written down, hmm how did that happen??"

I just looked at my receipt last night and she didn't write down my wedding date! She told me to call in a month to confirm the order and the delivery date, which is the week after next.

ETA:: But I did fill out this form where I put down the wedding date, so I'm not sure if she stapled that to my paperwork. Shoot...now I'm going to worry until I can call them

I fibbed my wedding date.

I order mine from Bridal Reflections in April03 and they told me about 8 months....and that would have been December03, but it actually came in October03 (2 months earlier). I told them I was getting married in April 04, because I was worried about if there was any problems but I really was getting married on May 15, 2004 - 4 weeks later.

Yes, did my fitting at the salon and then took it home that Thursay before my "fake" date (and 4 weeks before my actuall date) and so I just hung it in my house. No you really don't need to press it again, just as long you hang it somewhere where there is nothing around and tall enough so it won't wrinkle. But if it does wrinkle a little -- don't worry it's going to get wrinkled once you sit in the car and go to the Ceremony.
