NWR: Summer job was cancelled
Every year I sign up to work for the Catholic Learning Center... last year they cancelled on me at the last minute due to low enrollment, and unfortunatly the same thing just happened for this summer... I am tutoring a student everyday so I still have a good deal of money coming in but it stinks cuz we could really use the money for the wedding...
Anyone know of any part time day jobs or kids who need to be tutored? I applied for another position right away so hopefully something will come of that... Thanks!!

I use to work for Sylvan Learning Center, the money wasn't that great, but it was good hours.

Do you have a teaching certificate? I work at BOCES and they are always short summer help. They also have Teacher aid positions available. I would call tommorow. They start summer school on Friday. You could even do TA part time

I do have a certificate and I actually used to work at BOCES as a summer TA while I was in college. Only thing is we planned our vacation this year for the end of July since my other program was done by then. I'm going to look into getting more private tutoring- hopefully!
