I Love Bridal Reflections! This was my 2nd salon and the experience was wonderful... Dana was my consultant, she was amazing... She listen to me and helped me find exactly what I wanted.. Hopefully you can ask for her... You won't be disappointed... Good luck!

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

I am using the one in Massapequa so I can't speak for myself, but I know a lot of people have had problems with the one in Carle Place. If you do a post search for Bridal Reflections you will see some of them. Good luck!

Totally agree, just it was my 3rd salon. After having a bad experience a one, I went to BR a little pessimistic but Dana listened to me and the very first dress she brought out, I ended up buying! It was my dream dress!

I love Bridal Reflections and it was my 2nd salon too! I had Michele as my consultant and she was wonderful and very patient. She asked me what type I was looking for I told her and she brought in many dresses and then I did the weeding out.

And there I did find the one. I tried it on that day, but I wasn't sure. So I told them I'll have to think about it, because I was confused I saw too many - LOL. So they wrote down the information and put it in my file. And so I kept thinking about it and then I went back and ordered it.

Oh and if you order it at a Designers' showcase you get a percentage off (I think all salons do that - just a little FYI)

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

I used the one in Massapequa for my gown but we shopped in the Carle Place one for the MOB gown and the BM gowns. The salespeople were nice but the prices were a bit too high.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

BR was my first and only salon. Maddy was my consultant. She pulled about 5 dresses that met the requirement of covering the tattoo between my shoulder blades and I was able to pick the one dress of my dreams. She did not bother to show me poufy ballerina type of dresses because after talking to me for all of two seconds, she knew I was not looking for that- I did not even have to tell her. The manager Christina was amazing - she was able to save me a lot of money on my dress.

I also used them for Bridesmaid dresses. Mon-Wed and Friday they are open to look without appointments. I went there on two separate occasions with different members of my BP and they were very accommodating.

I also got my head piece there at a trunk show.

I have nothing but positive feedback for them. They were great with me, my family and my bridal party. Good luck!

I got my gown there. Haven't had my fittings yet, but so far, I have nothing but good things to say. My dress came in on time and they have let me come in numerous times to try it on.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

I actually had an appointment with them this weekend and I was disappointed. I called about a specific dress. I had the designer's name, the style number and I faxed them a picture of the dress. When they told me they had it I asked for a price range for it. They ask what my budget was. I told them the most expensive dress I had tried on so far was $1,800 and I didn't want to go much higher than that. They told me the dress was $2,700. I told them that was little high for me, and they said if I could go a little higher, they might be able to work with me. I get there, they have the dress waiting for me. They have me try it on, holding the little bouquet with it, having me walk "down the aisle" towards my mom,etc (those of you who have been there know what I am talking about). Only afterwards, when I mention my phone conversation, do they tell me that they made a mistake and the dress is actually $5,000. It could be an honest mistake, and I'm not mad (it turns out I didn't love the dress as much in person as I did in the picture). However, I won't shop here because of this. I don't need another $2300 "mistake". Just my opinion from my experience.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

I used BR in CP for my gown and BR in Massapequa for my BMs.

Both were very good experiences.

I lied about my date and it was unnecessary as both MY gown and my BM gowns came in EARLIER than promised. (I still recommend lying about your date though - can't hurt)

I had heard the mixed reviews and was worried too but Bridal Reflections turned out to provide the best service and selection of all the Bridal Shops I went to (and I went to alot).

My sister used BR in C for BM gowns and Kleinfeld for ehr own gown. It was a night and day difference

I hated Kleinfelds..if you are over a size 10 and can't spend over $2K they don't want to deal with you

I had a great experience with BR in Carle Place

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

SO much better. At Kleinfeld everything was perfect. The alterations were ebautiful. My sister's dress fit so well and they made her a BEADED modesty piece that looks like it's a part of the dress and actually improves the dress. you would NEVER know it was added. The matched the beading perfectly,

At BR, they were rude and pushy, they ordered all fo the dresses in the wrong size. When it came time to alter mine, the woman didn't know what she was doing, my mom had to TELL her how to do it, and she didn't really do a good job anyway. My seams were NOT straight. I walked around w/ a crooked zipper. When my cousin picked u her gown (2 days b4 the wedding), it had a HUGE BURN on it. They had to remake the botom of the dress while my cousin (from NJ, who had work in the AM) waited, and they hand her a dress that is 1/2 periwinkle 1/2 trquoise and expect her to walk down the aisle in it. Finally they did make a bottom that matched, but it was TOO much stress. Also, they gave us a hard time with getting swatches, they gave us a hard time with EVERYTHING. They were so rude when they felt we were taking too long, etc, and were so rude, they'd keep us on hold for literally over 10 minutes, etc etc.

My sis is well over a size 10 and we didn't encounter any problem with that at ALL. The woman really helped us find something flattering for my sis, and their gowns START at $1000, so it's not for everything, but we didn't have a problem at all. Actually at first she was showing us dressed that were sort of BELOW budget.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

I wasn't really thrilled with BR in carle place. I didn't like how I couldn't look at the dresses myself to see if I liked something. Also I found the attendant very unenthusiastic, she didn't get me excited at all... maybe it was because I went by myself, I don't know. I was locked away in the dressing room the whole time and I felt very uncomfortable standing around in my underwear with her there.
