Do you think it's OK to look at halls on the weekends?
I was just wondering if most places would actually be able to fully sit down with you and take their time. What was your experience w/ this? TIA

I would just call ahead of time to see if anyone would be able to sit with you. That's what we did because JT and I lived in Boston and could only be here on weekends. We always called and made an appointment and so we got one on one time with someone.

I personally don't like it Only b/c you don't really get to walk around the rooms and get a good view of it the way I would want to BUT if the weekends is the only time that is good for you and you have a decent sized lists of halls you want to see its a good way just to see them and get pricing, see the menu, etc. and if it makes the final cut you can always come back to Really look around at another time during the week.

also if you can ask if they have a wedding booked for the morning? If not maybe you can go early. They will be busy but you get to see the room all set up. and can go inside without disturbing anything. Best of both worlds.

Re: Do you think it's OK to look at halls on the weekends?
We could only look on weekends. But then again it was in Nov when we were looking so it wasn't the busy season. We always called and made appointments and it was never a problem.

Re: Do you think it's OK to look at halls on the weekends?
Yes, I think that it is ok. We looked at a lot of halls on the weekends, but we usually had to make an appointment for early in the day. When we were looking it was in late Fall and the halls weren't as busy as they are this time of year. We didn't have a problem, but the ones that we looked at during the week definitely had more time to spend with us. Just make sure to call in advance...
