e-ring pet peeve!
why do people think it's ok to put their fingers on the e-ring's diamond??! I HATE that!
does this happen to anyone else?

It gets worse. My friends who are mommies all tell me how perfect strangers feel it's ok to come up and touch their belly or reach into the carriage and touch the babies 
I think civilization is declining... seriously.

i don't understand why they have to touch the stone, yes it can be cleaned but there is no reason to put your hands all over it

the 1st time it happened was 2 days after I got it. some girl at work put her pointer finger right on it. what the.... ?
the 2nd time it happened my friend's sister in law twisted it around my finger and she turned it around while holding the diamond! that pissed me off and she could tell I was mad. she said "oh don't worry, it's for good luck". whatever! 
and then last night we went into the city to meet up with my FH's cousin and her mother in law put her whole hand on top of my ring after looking at it.

I had a JEWELER do this to me! ARGH! I was looking at wedding bands with JT, and he said, well, let me see your e-ring so we can find something nice to go with it, so he put his nasty thumb right smack on my diamond! AND LEFT A FINGER PRINT! I said to him, "Excuse me, can you take your thumb off of my diamond?!?! I JUST had that cleaned!" And his response was, "It's no big deal!" So I told him thank for making me never want to use his store for anything. And I stomped out!

well I guess it bothers me b/c mine is still new. only about 4 months old. I like to keep it clean and free of finger prints.

It's kind of like taking your hands and putting your nasty palm prints on someone else's car. It's just rude, that's all.

This never happened to me but thats probably because if people ask to see it I dont let them close enough to touch it.

I agree...I'm not into strange people just touching.... ( I can't imagine how pregnant women deal with this!).... I haven't had any bad experiences with anyone touching my e-ring but that is probably because I don't let them get too close to it.
