They're filming Law and Order outside my window
They've been filming Law and Order all day in my neighborhood but I wasnt around. I thought they were finished with filming (somehow I didnt notice all of the trailers and film equipment on my street!)
I fell asleep on the couch with the door to the terrace open and at 1am I woke up hearing what I thought were gunshots and the sound of a car speeding away - I jumped off the couch, ran to the terrace - on the way I tripped over one of my sleeping cats - grabbed the phone and was about to dial 911 when I looked out the terrace and noticed the film set. . . so now I've been sitting on the terrace watching them film - they've done the shooting and car speeding away about 10 times all ready.

I love Law & Order! My fave is SVU (I LOVE Detective Stabler!!) The new one Trial By Jury is pretty good too

Oh no! There was a small sign in the lobby about the upcoming fake gunshot noises, but it wasn't very prominent. DH and I got in around 11 last night, and every noise we heard walking from the subway we attributed to fake gunshots!

Oh, how funny would it be if your voice somehow made it into the episode?
We were once at the taping of the Daily Show and when we watched tthe replay on tv when the audience laughed you could here my distinct laugh clear as day above all others

How cool!!! I'm surprised they were still filming at 1 a.m. I can imagine how many calls the police got last night. Are you in Manhattan?
They filmed a number of times up by my school this year (108th St.)

They filmed a number of times up by my school this year (108th St.)
No, we live in Long Island City. They used to film a lot of Third Watch episodes around here - but I never watched the show, so I never got into it. They filmed a bit of The Interpreter on my street.
I dont know how I didnt know they were filming at night in our neighborhood, but I missed the sign in my apartment lobby and somehow I missed all of the trailers and film equipment - I really am absent minded!
