Prices of BM dresses?

What do you all think is reasonable????

I think "reasonable" varies depending on the finances of the BMs. I think it's not *crazy* for a dress to be around $300 (with alterations and what not), but I understand that not everyone is able to pay that and I'd be uncomfortable asking my BMs to pay more than $300 no matter their financial situation.

But if you have your heart set on a BM dress, there are options ... One of my BMs is in grad school, so I offered to help her out with paying for the dress if she needed it.

oops...i clicked without reading...i thought you were asking how much my BM dresses were...if I could vote again I would go with 150-200...i think anything more expensive than that puts a burden on the girls when they're going to have enough expenses

The first place we looked at was Thread. I LOVED them, but our favorite was $375 I also loved Amsale BM dresses, but again, I felt they were too much.

At first I thought about paying half of it myself and then I woke up and saw how crazy that would have been.

We wound up with nice Bill Levkoff dresses and they were all (they all got different dresses) under $150 at RK Bridal and Netbride. And even better - we just got all of them in the mail!

I would say on average I would expect to pay around $250 if I was in one. But of I loved the dress, I don't think I would mind if it was more.

BM dresses were 160 or 180. I felt so bad asking the girls to pay for the dresses but I know that is how it is done.
