MAC makeup
Can anyone suggest a MAC makeup artist? I'm looking for someone (preferably from the Smith Haven Mall area) to do my wedding makeup and I would appreciate a referral. Thanks!

MAC artist are amazing except that I owuldn't go MAC on your wedding day unless you do a trial first.
MAC is very "runway model". I work at ULTA and am one of the artists in that store. I work iwth a great group of makeup artists there and we have had two brides in the past week, one last friday and one saturday that left MAC in tears after trials.
They do GOURGEOUS but very dramatic looks, so depending on what you are into you may want to check out some other options.

I agree 100%. I got a trial with a MAC Artist and it was HORRIBLE.

I had a great trial with Kristen Larocca, a MAC artist at bloomies in Roosevelt. You have to go to her for the trial but she'll come to you the day of.

You should definitely contact Corina Anne at Detailed Elegance. She was my wedding cooridinator but she is also a make-up artist. She did my mom's make-up for the wedding. You can check out my pics in my review on the review board.

ETA- She works at the MAC store in Roosevelt Field
