Cheap, fun getaway w/ the girls?
Does anyone have any ideas for a weekend away with the girls that won't break the bank? My girlfriends are all talking about going away for a weekend somewhere, but everyplace they recommend includes travel by plane/train and looks like it will cost an arm and a leg.
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive getaway w/in driving distance?!

why not the east end, and I'm not suggesting parting it up in the hamptons,( u can if you want) but what about staying a a bed & breakfeast on the northfork, and hitting the vinyards, the beach, the spa etc, just a thought

every summer my girlfriends and i drive down to ocean city Maryland. it doesn't cost much, it takes about4-5 hrs i think, we have alot of fun driving down with the radio cranking being silly. we used to stay at the santa maria but i think they are renovating it this year  , check it out it's fun

Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun are a lot of fun to go withthe girls! They do concerts onthe weekends so you night be able to catch a good show!

Thanks so much!! I wanted to have some ideas to hit them with before we get together this week so it wasn't just me saying "I can't afford it..." lol.
I just know it would turn into the "now that you're getting married we're never going to see you..." things.
Any other ideas?

we actually just went to Wildwood, NJ
the boardwalk was 2 miles long and they have 2 waterparks and like 5 piers of amusement rides
arcades and clubs
it was a really great time
