Need advice about FFIL's health issues!

Hi - I do not have a FMIL, she passed away about 9 years ago. Now my FFIL is not well at all and is back in the hospital with pneumonia. He's 77. My FI asked what we are going to do if he dies right before the wedding? Do we still have it? My parents are paying for it and I think my father would kill me if we had to cancel it.

Does anyone have a similar situation? I am not sure how I am supposed to feel about this.

Sorry to hear this. Could you maybe ask you FFIL what his wishes would be if this where to happen?

I know some people think it is a morbid idea but why don't purchase wedding insurance. I think it covers a death in the family.

I agree with Wendy, maybe see what FFIL's wishes are. It's definitely not an easy situation and I'll keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I can understand too at this stage of the planning and with your parents paying the questions and concerns you have.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I like the idea of insurance but how do you get something like that and if anyone knows how expensive is it?

Thanks guys! We are planning on getting the wedding insurance from wedsafe - we have just been procrastinating, but we'll probably do it this weekend.
