Is this idea silly for the rehearsal dinner?
We'll have about 35 people or so at our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. I'm thinking of getting a piece of stretched canvas and setting it up on an easle, with a bunch of paints and paintbrushes. It will be in the corner or something and guests (if they want to) can just add whatever they want to the canvas, and at the end of the night we'll have an original piece of art that I guess we'll title "Rehearsal dinner" or "The night before."
When I worked as a waitress for a caterer I saw this done at a party and at the end of the night the artwork looked pretty cool.
We both like non realistic art and I like the idea of having a tangible reminder of our rehearsal dinner. . . but of course, I wanted to test the idea out on the '05 ladies.
