FLOWERS: Is this a good price???
Went to Burton's (very nice in there) and they quoted $2899 for:
8 bouquets
11 bouts
3 corsages
22 TALL glass centerpieces
Any type of flowers we want (prob callas)

That is a good price...but I would read review on Burton's befopre deciding...not everyone has been happy with them.

There are a few brides on the 05 board...and you can do a search for Burton's and choose The Bride's Review...nothing to bad, like with other florists...but it seems that you have to be very specific.

Hey Jessica it's me Alicia I work with you right down the hall. Good to see you on the boards.
I went to Butons too they were my second choice but I decided to go with LABlossom Laurie was great i would check her out too she is a vendor on here.
But the price they quoted you is great

Give her a call to set up something to meet with her she is a vendor on here so go to vendors abd click on Florist

I have never heard of them. I went shopping around and was quoted a few HIGH prices. My friend got married last August and got a huge beautiful boquet at Ken and Eva's Cottage. So I decided to go there. They have an ad in Long island bride magazine. And you get a whole load of stuff for $899. 10centerpeices a bridal bouqet of roses 5 bridesmaid 1 flowergirl, a double boutanaire(however you spell that lol) for the groom plus 4 usher and one ring bearer one. 2 corsages for the mothers and 2 boutanaires for the fathers all for $899. The bouqet for the bride is a rose bouqet so I changed it a bit to what I wanted and it didnt come out to much more. The centerpeices are beautiful they are The tall off the table and GLASS. The ad ends at the end of june so if your interested you should go there soon. My friend didn't use the ad though last year and she saved a lot by going to them. They are in brentwood.
