My MOH's Shower Was YESTERDAY! (PICS!)
We had my MOH (SFP0214's) Shower yesterday at her mom's house.
It was really nice - we did a southern tea party in honor of the groom who is from down south. We had tea and topiaries, did everything in shades of pink, red velvet cake (I made it!), I did paddlefans for each guest that had questions about the groom that Trish had to answer, BINGO, and much more!
I posted pics on the 05 thread and on my photo album!
Thanks KISSY for all your help the last few weeks! Boy am I tired!

Everything looked great!!! It was my pleasure to help you out in these past couple of weeks  I am so glad that Trish enjoyed the shower!!!! I loved the topiarys!! I hear the fans were a big hit!

Yes-we did have a good time.
At this point in my life I am a Bride, Bridesmaid and Maid-of-Honor... so I feel like I knew what everyone needed and wanted to do....
For example, as a bridesmaid, I've been sad when I couldn't contribute in a way, so I gave everyone an "assignment" - something that they could do to help out.
As a Bride, I knew little things that would make me happy, personal touches, etc.
And now as a MOH...I am definitely going to give big shout outs to my MOH (Trish) when she goes and does mine cause it's a lot of work! But well worth it!

You are 100% right!!! I think it is so helpful to be a MOH & bride all at the same time! We all know that there are special things that would make the day that much better
Right now I am in the situation as Leese...I am a MOH to Kiddo115 & a bride...It is one of the best things in the world

On to the B-Party which is THIS weekend.

Lisa.. You did a FANTASTIC job! You should be so very proud of yourself.. I know it's a lot of hard work, but they are so very worth it. I am MOH for my friend from college on 8/28 (Jersee3380) and I'm pooped from all the stuff I've done already.. I too am a big DIY girl! Saving money often means more work for me, but she's worth it. Can't wait to start planning Kristens.. gonna get her good! (And then she'll return the fave for me )
