Silly shower gift question
FH and I live together and are in desperate need of many things that we received at the Shower yesterday. I know traditionally, shower gifts aren't to be used until after the wedding, but my question is:
"Would it be "inappropriate" to use the shower gifts before the wedding?"
I am dying to know! Thanks!

we used all our stuff right away. I think that "rule" was made when couples generally didn't live together first. But I don't know for sure. Either way, we needed the stuff, so we used it.

All I know is my family said it's bad luck to use them before the wedding. That's enough to make me not use them! Do what's best for you, though.

I have heard not to use wedding gifts until after the wedding but not shower.. Heck my shower was yesterday and the stuff is already unpacked and in my closets
