My Shower was Yesterday( with link to pics)
Finally I can say, my shower was yesterday! My wonderful sister did such an amazing job considering it was the first shower she ever threw!! It went so fast, I wish I ahd more time to enjoy it.
They had it at a hall in CT. The theme was an afternoon tea and they decorated it with sunflowers (my favorite flowers!) She hired a professional tea company to serve us an authentic afternoon tea. The buffet had mini sandwiches, scones with jame and cream (YUM!!), wish cookies, mini carrot cakes and of course tea.
I got sooooo many gifts I couldn't even bring them all home with me. I feel so fortunate! People were so generous. 
The best gift, however was the recipe book my mom made me of all of my grandma's (her mom's)recipes. My grandma died about 10 years ago, but we miss her so much and I wished that she could have been there and in a way she was.
My sister also made up a trivia game about me to see who knew the bride better. We also played the timer game as I opened gifts.
