We used to go to Cooking with Jazz in Whitestone. It closed in January. Any recommendations?

WOW I didn't know they closed. Their food was the best. Big Daddy's in Massapequa is pretty good.

wow cooking with jazz closed?? what happened ? the food was excellent and it always seemed so crowded

I love Bayou, but it is small and gets very crowded. Best to go during the week.

My brother and his girlfriend rave about this place...we have yet to try it...
I LOVED Cooking with Jazz...I live in Whitestone...and didn't even know they had closed until I saw a cleaners in the spot where they were

They lost their lease but are looking for a new place for their restuarant, so they could pop up anywhere.

The owner of cooking with Jazz is friends with DH's cousin. They lost the lease and he decided he needed some time off, so right now, he's not doing anything. I was so sad Cooking with Jazz closed....If I hear of it opening anywhere again, I'll keep you posted.
The place in Mineola is good... we ate there to celebrate our closing on our coop!
