Need a Locale for Rehearsal Dinner
Hello fellow brides,
I need some suggestions for rehearsal dinner restaurants. I am rehearsing at my hall, Lombardi's on the Sound, but I feel that eating there will be like having the same food 2 days in a row. Any ideas for something that is not too far by car and that is relatively affordable? I want to go with a more continental cuisine as Lombardi's is predominantly Italian food. I also have vegetarians in my wedding party (3 out of 7), and approx. 50 guests counting the wedding party's spouses and significant others. . .
please help . . .
already have info on Danford's . . .

There is a place called The Hideaway ( I think). It on or off of Pipe Stave Hollow rd.
Very nice restaurant!

There is a really nice steak house in Port Jeff called Pace's......don't know if they hold events like that though

El Dorado in Port Jeff Station which is good food and a nice laid back atmosphere...only problem is that they don't have aprivate room for parties...Maybe a little too laid back??
Also, in Setaukt there is Eastern Pavillion that has a nice small room upstairs that serves Chinese and Japanese Cuisine...They had good prices and serve food Family Style. They offered a few dishes and that would be good for your vegetarian guests too...

Just so you know, Savinos Hideaway actually closed :(
There are a ton of great restaurants down in PJ. I grew up there, a few suggestions:
Pasta, Pasta; Printers Devil; Portico, Village Way.
Not sure how many people, or the $, but Danfords or Printers Devil are probably the "nicest" & best places as far as private space.
