Does your FI wear a ring???
I've been noticing a lot of guys w/rings on their fingers (ring fingers) on the left or right hand...and they're engaged (Of course I'm asking - nosey me!) Does your FI wear one????

No. Although my FI asked me to get him one so I got him a plain white gold band - and then I got him a very nice platinum wedding band for our wedding day. I figure he could wear the gold band when we go backpacking through Europe next year and for gardening - where he wouldn't want to ruin the good band.

yes, I bought a "promise" ring for my FH for our first Christmas together...I wanted him to know that I had all intentions of making my life with him! He wears it religiously on his left hand as a wedding band...Once we are married, it will be replaced by the wedding band

no, but he wants one, ever since the day he proposed he's been wanting to go ring shopping, he said he wants to wear a ring to let people know he is engaged too! hehe

My FH has never, ever worn a ring, and said he's not comfortable in them. He said the only ring he'll ever wear is his wedding ring.

No he doesnt but he talkes about getting wedding bands all the time he told me he wants 2 one for everyday and 1 for when we go out....which i thought was really sweet

no, he doesn't... but I know internationally it's common for a couple to wear promise bands on their ring fingers of the right hand....

nope. he hates jewelery and the fact that he's a fireman he wouldn't want to wear a ring anyway. even after we're married, he's only wear it when he's not working.
my FBIL recently got engaged and his FI bought him a promise ring that he wears on his left ring finger

Mine doesnt wear either. It wouldnt matter if he wore one anyway, he gets hit on everywhere we go, even if Im with him! 
He does think I should have bought him an engagement present!
Anyone else buy their FI's engagment presents?

Yes....my Fi wears a chladda (irish) ring on his ring finger on his right hand....
That wasnt his e gift though...he got a omega watch...which he also wears every day

FI doesn't wear any jewelry (besides the occasional watch). He said he'll wear a wedding band when we go out - but not really on an everyday basis. He informed me last week that he plans to get a ring tattooed on his ring finger so he's got the look, without the bling! He plans to do it when we return from the honeymoon.

Nope! He says he doesn't wear rings, but he'll wear the wedding band!
Instead Spiderman 2 came out on DVD right after we got engaged (he's a HUGE fan!!!) so I bought that for him as an engagement present. I knew he wouldn't be able to make it til Christmas!!! Plus, since I pre-ordered it he got a free hat, 2 presents for the price of 1!!!

My FH isn't into jewlery at all. He doesn't even really wear a watch. He will wear a wedding band, at least in the beginning, but he requested that it is plain (no bling).
I wanted to get him a watch as an engagement present, but he told me not to because he doesn't like wearing jewelry.
Instead he told me to buy something for myself - that worked for me too!

Same here. My FI is a landscaper too so he will not be wearing a ring to work. Also he really does not like jewelry. He doesn't even wear a watch.

FH doesn't wear a ring, but I do plan to get him an "engagement watch", probably with an engraving on the back. He has said that he will wear his wedding ring all the time, though.

He doesn't wear a ring now - not much of a jewelry guy. He will wear a wedding band and looks forward to it. I did buy him a Raymond Weil watch for our engagement and for him finishing grad school. It set me back quite a bit of money but i know he will have it forever. Classic watches dont go out of style.

My FI doesn't like jewelry...the only thing he wears is a watch...he asked if he could get a ring tattooed on his finger instead of wearing one. For an e present I bought him this tv he really, really wanted. After the money he spent on the ring the least I could do was buy him a $400 tv.

I bought FI an engagement ring and he wears it daily. I bought him a claddagh ring in white gold. Once we are married he plans on wearing the claddagh ring on his right hand.
