They have a no cell phone policy so I don't have to deal with that...

What I hate is when I have my headphones on and the 2 (or 3) people next to me are talking to each other so loudly that I still hear them clearly WITH the volume as high as it can go.

I just hate when it's crowded

and we skeevy guys STARE at me- don't they see the ring- hello it's pretty big

and I know you have a GF and 2 kids- yes there is one guy who is bothering me latley
his GF even gives me dirty looks- I try not to make eye contact- I have never even said a word to him- LOSER

I hate women who stink of perfume, talk on cell phone, and the people who wear their pajama pants to work out!!

did you try it? A girl flipped out b/c FH was holding a tredmill for me (I had to get off & talk to my trainer), my water &keys were still on it, I was back in less than 3 minutes and there were 9 other treadmills...


The whole rest of the work out I was a B*tch, Sl_t, Ska&t, all these bad names she screamed across the treadmill wall at me... Then Dave (my trainer) & a manager asked her to leave..

Dave didn't share details, but I didn;t see her there again, but I only go there if I have to I g oto a different Bally's now

Twice now I've dealt with this..but it could be the same guy.

Coughing every 2 minutes right next to me on the machine and not covering his mouth. I go to get healthy, not to catch your illness!

The Gold's gym near me in MD is in a shopping mall, and it is right across from a Cinnabon. I always thought that was so mean. Also, the front is completely glass, so the people sitting and eating Cinnabon can watch the people working out. So unfair...

ok - I used to be a fitness instructor (and worked out at the gym as well, so I saw it from ALL ends)

So here goes...

1. Yes - the ones with the reseved spot on the floor - give me a break - they'd get all pissy if someone was in their spot. I once went to a class for the 1st time, and someone told me not to stand there because it was "Jane's" spot!!!

2. The ones who come late - I mean, 15-20 minutes late. And try to take their spot. In front of the class.

3. The ones who leave early. Usually the ones who come in late.

4. The B!tch fest when theres a sub. Get over it. It's an hour out of your life.

5. The ones who complain the class was too easy. Then when you challenge them, the class is too hard.

6. The women who stare and stare and stare and stare and stare at themselves in the mirror.

7. The guys who just come to chat with the other guys. Big a$$ weight belt on, all "pumped" and ready to go. chatting.

8. The obsessive spinners who wait on line for the room to open so they can grab "their" bike. (Similar to the reserved spot on the floor)

9. People who take hours in the shower in the morning.

10. When instructors play BAD music

My gym is located NEAR a Dunkin Donuts but I never noticed it before tonight..the smell of tasty donuts in the parking lot. Eeek!

Even more than the cell phone talkers, I hate the big muscle guys who practically throw their weights on the ground so that the entire building shakes. What is up with that?
