How about woman who are overweight that were see through white spandex pants and arent as nice as the one's who wear the black thong underneath. YUCK!!!
Or the young girls who roll their shorts up from the waist that cause their a$$ cheeks to hang out.
Or the young girls who pull their thong up so that it is around their waist.
I agree with the people who love to chat or ask you to move to another treadmill while your in the middle of running so that their friend can be next to them so they can chat the whole time!!

the girls that dont need to work out ..and have their cellphone attached to their ear..and hog all the good machines and pretend they work out WOW I JUST FREAKED OUT....that felt good...ahahahha that is also my pet peeve

I can't stand when someone uses a machine next to me and they reek of cologne! There are so many men and women in my gym who shower with perfume/cologne before they work out. It's gotten so bad that I have had to move away from them!

I've got some new ones.


1 All the parking spots are taken - except those handicapped spots out front by the door. So I drive around to the back and WAIT A MINUTE - color me ignorant, but why are there handicapped spots outside the gym?


2 There are 2 older women (50+). They have OK bodies, but they are under the impression that they are build like Brittany spears (pre Kevin). They are they only 2 people in sports bras and snug bike shorts They make sure that everyone sees them hug before and after class. I don't need hugs before my butt and gutt class, why do they???Makes me want to lob a fit ball at them just to hear the plastic hollow thud


3 Ahhh - schools out. You know what that means - yup - gym managers get to bring their kids to work. And To keep the little animals from jousting with the fit bars - they heat up buttered popcorn in the utility closet microwave. Now anyone who works in an office with a microwave knows it takes hours for the smell of buttered popcorn to dissipate after some hump in payroll decides he needs a 3 o'clock snack break. Imagine that for your entire class - hmmmm buttered popcorn and a gym full of sweaty people who are already pissed that they couldn't get a parking spot. an invitation for mayhem

When the person next to me on the treadmill has the worst Garlic breath, and the fans blow it constantly my way directly to my nose. Its just so nasty

Ok...I actually saw a woman at the gym tonight in flip flops!!! I read this post just TODAY and could NOT believe it...then...I get to the gym and there she was...marching away on the step!

Oh...and she must have just come from a pedicure - there was the rolled up papertowel in between her toes!!!

When I go to a class and put my step down and get some weights this stupid lady puts her step like right on top of me when there is a HUGE room and they can go anywhere...i refuse to move b/c i was there 1st so if i kick he duing kickboxing it is her own damn fault!

Sorry guys!! I am one of those cell phone people!! when I was planning the wedding I was so busy and I would call my friends to catch up - it also helped me pass the time while I walked or was on the bike

But this one used to annoy me So much. The girls who were already thin with great bodies that would come in their cute matching workout gear with their hair done and a full face of makeup , jewlery, everything. Do a lap around the gym holding a bottle of water. Walk on the treadmil for like 5 minutes. Stretch, and leave!!!!
It was soooooooooo obvious she was just there to try to pick up a guy or scope out any cute ones!! and she did this ALL the time!!

I mean the gym wasn't cheap.. you pay that much just to meet a guy?!?!!?!?

I love working out with the guys even though they grunt and groan. I like having them there for advice and its motivating. The guys at my gym are mostly older married men (or at the time when I workout anyhow *5:30 am* ) and they aren't "piggish" at all. They will tell me if I am doing something wrong and when I am using good form. some that I have built a friendship with even tell me when they see improvement or that I am not working hard enough.

I think its great.

OMG.....the visuals I am getting are making me LMAO!!!!

The naked chicks in the locker room are pretty bad....but what's worse is when they are like 80 years old!!!!!!!!!!

As far as the handicapped parking........I do have to say that there are many handicapped conditions that you can still go to the gym and work out. My FSIL is handicapped as well as her boyfriend. She is capable to workout on a bike or treadmill and it would be beneficial for her. Also, sometimes people are considered handicapped for a medical illness, not necessarily a "physical" handicap. Many times their conditions can be strengthened by activity. Just an FYI

i agree with you about the social club. in my class, there used to be a bunch of girls that always walked in 15 min late and bunched up in the corner of the room; they also did half kicks and punches and drank water every 5 seconds while i'm sweating my butt off. oops..that was kinda long.

I think I can relate to ALL of these...as I sit here and remember that I am donating money to NYSC every month and have to start going tomorrow!!!

Another one on top of all of these....the guys that look at you like you can't handle yourself.

One time a guy saw me put almost 400 lbs on the leg press and said "you're gonna hurt yourself!!" I laughed and showed him how wrong he was.

Another is when you just get to a machine and then within 10 seconds, someone is standing over you asking you how long you're going to be.

The other is the people that throw stuff in a locker without a lock!!! WTH is with these people!! You can afford the gym membership but not $3-5 for a stinking lock??!! It makes me want to take their stuff and throw it on the floor!

1. I have to shower in the mornign after the gym at the gym, and I hate women who take over the entire bench and don't want to move any of their stuff (one was even sitting, calmly eating a donut!).

2. People who spend tons of time on one machine, mostly "resting"

3. Once again, the naked talkers! I do have to shower, change, etc., but I certainly would not stand around naked and have a conversation!

Get there early or lose it.

Yeah, the naked women can be gross. One recently was sitting on a chair, buck naked, singing songs in French to herself, and staring off into space. She wasn't getting dressed, just sitting around. I think the sitting on the chair naked got to me the most--who would want to sit there next?
