I don't even live in NY but I have a favorite thanks to my sister- Sea in Brooklyn- the best I have ever had outside of Thailand.

ERAWAN is very good, I recommend the Lobster Spring rolls as appetizer, yummy, their shrimp pad thai is awesome, their wide noodles are very good, they have this crispy duck which is also very good and it's tender. As for in the city, I've heard PEEP is very good in Soho, trendy, food is inexpensive, but I haven't brought myself to try it since I'm happy with Erawan. Near my job is SPICE, which I get because it's one of the only thai places in the upper east side.

Bell Blvd in Bayside...if you go on a weekend I would make reservations...its small and gets crowded...you won't be dissappointed...the chiken pad thai is excellent and the pineapple rice is beyond words...mmm I'm craving thai doof now...
and while ordering the couple of dishes mentioned above also order this.. help me girls!.. it's this spring roll kinda deal. it has a crispy outter shell.. comes with a sweet sauce.. ugh! i cannot remember! but it's fantastic! you must try! my goodness! I'M HUNGRY FOR SOME ERAWAN!

We enjoy thai food and I always love to hear about good Thai restaurants. I heard that Erawan is great. It is really close to our apartment too. We hope to go there soon.

I went to PEEP in SOHO, and it was very very good. I actually liked their pad thai better than Erwan's, the atmosphere is very cool and the prices were inexpensive.

My neighborhood just got a great thai place - Tuk Tuk - on Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City. Tuk Tuk is good good!
