wearing your ering on the big day??
Hey ladies...i know people usually switch their ering to their right hand on the big day, but mine doesnt fit on the right hand! so what do i do?? can i just keep it on my left hand during the ceremony or should i take it off and give it to someone to hold for me? what did you all do???

HA HA HA Even though I knew the answer I still put the e-ring on the right hand to make sure it fit!!
I would leave it on my left hand... I would not want to entrust anyone with it, it may get lost or forgotten in the chaos of the day. I would however let the priest know what you are doing so he is not surprised at the altar!

Iam actually having mine in the box with the wedding band...when we exchange rings I'll put on the band and then the e-ring on.

I will put mine on my right hand....But, when I was the MOH in my cousins wedding, I wore her e-ring until the ceremony was over.

Mine fits on the right hand (its snug but still fits) so thats what I will be doing..... I would feel naked, but probably would give it to MOH to hold during the ceremony.

I just tried it on my right hand, it feels so weird over there!! I might just not wear it at all, the wedding band will be on there soon enough to replace it!

is your e-ring really tight on your right hand, or it doesn't fit even to the knuckle? If it won’t even fit your right ring finger at all, what you can do is put it on your right pinky before you start the walk down the aisle.

mine didn't fit on my right hand either so I put it on my right pinky finger and switched it over to the left right before the end of the ceremony (after we exchanged rings)

I don't know if there's any kind of "rule" about it, but I wouldn't have wanted to have my e-ring on my left hand. You're supposed to wear you marriage band closest to your heart.

I will wear mine on my right hand. Traditionally, Jewish brides and grooms place the wedding bands on the index fingers of the left hands and not the ring fingers. The index finger is believed to have a direct line to the heart. They only move the rings to the ring finger AFTER the ceremony is over. I just don't wear two rings on two different fingers on my left hand otherwise I'd keep te e-ring there.

i wore mine on my right till the reception...then remembered to stack it on my other NEW ring! woohoooo!
ETA: if i couldn't have worn it on my right, i would have given it to my MOH to hold till after the ceremony.

I'm taking my e-ring off when I'm under the canopy, then Fh is going to place the band on my finger and put the e-ring on afterwards.

I wore it on my left hand and right before I stood up in Church for the vows and ring ceremony I switched it to my right. It was a little big, but for a few minutes it was fine. When I sat back down I put it back on my left hand.

I have the same problem. I think I'll just put it on as far down as it goes on my right hand and put it back on my left hand after we walk down the aisle.
