i went to look at a french bulldog today with my mom

...they were sooooo darn cute...the breeder is moving to florida and she is givingup her male and female french bulldogs for adoption..they are 1 1/2 yr old..i have a 1yr old boxer at home..i would love to take the male dog..my dog would love it!! does anyone have any advice on having two dogs? my fh is like why take on 2 dogs when we already have a really well behaved and trained dog..? what do you guys think...hes only 22 lbs and such a cutie but i heard they have high health risks...someone please talk me out of it..or else im gonna get it!! ..i feel like i can handle it..it may be hard for a while but my mom has 5 dogs..and totally loves them and trained well..now this is her 6th..i just want 2..what do i do?

I have 2 dogs an american bulldog and a boxer. the american bulldog we got at 6 weeks and she is well trained but the boxer we bought from one of those puppy mill stores at 3 months and dont have the time to train him as much as the american bulldog but he watched and did and does everything she does- they will learn from eachother. I say do it! If you have the space do it- I want to get another dog soon- def a bulldog. but with 5 cats 2 dogs and working on a baby- it would have to wait. awwwwww send pics if you get him!!!

thanks for your advice!! wow you have 2 of my favorite dogs to begin with!! i love them..i dont know how to post pics..but when i go back with my mom i will def take pics and figure it out!!! thanks again
