NWR: So excited...going to meet my sisters tomorrow **UPDATED WITH PICS**
UPDATE: I just got back from upstate and I wanted to thank all of you for you wonderful words. Your support really touched me and I couldn't wait to share the pictures with you.
Update in post at bottom.
Here's a little background - my parent's have been divorced since I was an infant and I have only seen my father once at my grandfather's funeral. He never made an attempt to see me. Now he has since gotten married (and married/divorced and married/divorced and married/divorced). Because of his nonsense, I have two half-sisters, now they are ages 17 and 16, that I found out about a few years ago. The three of us have been writing/emailing/talking on the phone since then but we have never met in person.
The oldest got herself into quite a bit of a mess and is having a baby (hopefully as I type this - she's been in labor since 8am yesterday). So FH and I are driving up to see them tomorrow! I am so excited! So absolutely scared out of my mind but excited! Not only do I meet two sisters but my nephew as well. I can't wait!

Awww...that's great news! FH met his 9 year old stepbrother in 2003 for the first time. Sometimes great things come out of bad situations. Have a great time!!!

Congrats on getting to meet your sisters! And new nephew! Coming from my family, I have two half sisters from my dads 2nd marriage, a step brother from his 3rd and a half sister from my mom's 2nd marriage. I have more families than most! Love them all!

It was absolutely amazing to finally meet them in person after all this time. FH and I went to the hospital as soon as we got there on Friday and I couldn't stop hugging both of them. Of course I couldn't let go of my nephew either. All three of us were naturally nervous at first but it was a great time.
This morning we went to the hospital again first thing, I got to feed my nephew! Today was supposed to be the baby shower, but since Dominick decided to wait two weeks to join us, it was just a family bbq. We drove Krissy (the youngest sister) to her house for the party and I got to meet my "stepmother" - their mom, who is an incredible person. Her and her family opened up their hearts and home to me. It's incredible to have this extended family.
I feel so very complete now. It's a wonderful feeling.
