Aruba advice

Hello ladies!

FI and I have decided that we are going to Aruba on our HM. We are debating between the Wyndham and Bucuti hotels. Also, if anyone has stayed at the Tara Suites, are they nicer than the regular rooms? Any advice is greatly appreciated... I am clueless!

Thanks so much!!

Re: Aruba advice

WE stayed at the Bucuti in the Tara Suites and they were beautiful! I loved it and we are thinking of going back for our first anniversary. the Tara suites have a little kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and sink with glasses and dishes. It was nice for us, since we did not do any meal plans and we could bring food back to the room if we wanted.

The beach at the Bucuti is much better than the high rise area in my opinion. It is very quiet there and most of the Tara Suite guests were honeymooners when we were there. The low rise area is quieter, so if you are into the nightlife and lots of activities, the high rise section (where the Wyndham is) might be a better choice, but we loved the Bucuti.

Re: Aruba advice

Aruba is beautiful no matter where you stay... My family has a timeshare and I have been there many times...

Make sure you eat at El Gauchos - if you or your new hubby likes steak

Re: Aruba advice

We are staying at the bucuti beach for our honeymoon in August. We are staying in the Tara suites for 8 days. A friend from work actually said she wouldn't stay anywhere else and she is always traveling. I actually booked directly from the hotel on their website because we already had airplane tickets. The prices are actually listed on-line. I hope this helps!

Re: Aruba advice

We went there on a cruise and toured the diff hotels.. I dont think you can really go wrong and it is GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GOREGOUS there. We reallllyyyy love it and want to go back . You muuust each atel gauchos and you must go to carlos and charlies... so much fun!

Also if you can get on the pirate drinking ship (it really lookslike a pirate ship) we went and had the most INSANE awesome drunk time! Singing and dancing and jumping off the plank.

Def get a hold of some "rum punch" its all over the place down there and usually free on the snorkeling or boat trips.
