WOW A Total difference...Dont you miss that cool chandellier you had in the dining room though? It was sooo 70's. The kitchen is such a big transformation...even though you didnt replace the original cabinets....Really looks beautiful.
In the kitchen, the piece that used to connect both cabinets and go over the sink, what happened to that? Did they have to cut it off or was it screwed in? It looks so much better with out it.
Did you guys redo the bathroom too?
As for the kitchen floor, and the hardwoons they look great...and I love the color...Very warm....

yes we took out that ugly piece- it was i think only glued up there. i had the contractor take it out- i wanted more light.
yes ill miss the 70's cahndelier- i offered it up to people but no one wanted it- i wonder why 
yes we redid the bathroom - my contractor charge me $2000 for labor and i bought all the supplies with him at home depot - everythging was right off of the rack. nothing custom

Absolutely beautiful!!! In the other rooms of the house were you lucky and the wood floors under the carpet or did you have to purchase? Great job! (I wish I had a house!!!)
we found wood in 2 bedrooms so we just had it refinished- we were lucky!

It looks fantastic!!! YOu guys did so much. I absolutely love the colors and the floor! The kitchen looks 1000x better!
My bro was going to move from Stamford & now they decided to just expand on their house (b/c the houses are increasing so much in value & they are so happy where they are).

thanks cindy!! i agonized over every decision so i am happy that people like it! :)
yes stamford is pretty hot right now- it seems its better to hold than sell..its so close to the city and the water- and taxes are LOW b/c huge corporations are there.
