Tahiti Honeymoon Itinerary!
Hi! I had posted a few weeks back that my FI and I wanted to go to FP on a small budget. Well, we recently got a great quote from an awesome travel agent!!! What do you think?
R/T Non-stop airfare from JFK
Interisland ferry transfers
Trip Insurance
3 nights Tahiti (Intercontinental) Reg. room
3 nights Moorea (Sofitel) Garden Bungalow
3 nights Moorea (Sofitel) Overwater Bungalow
We are so excited that we found a package for around $5k!!! We will have to save bora bora for our next trip *wink* !!

It sounds great! I have heard people say that Tahiti was their least favorite, so you may waht to think about only staying there for 2 nights. That's what we are doing.

akajt98 - Hey, I'm actually usually on theknot.com and knottie Jells1107 is an FP expert! She actually became a p/t travel agent so I got some rates from her and the package prices were amazing! Her name is Janelle and she works for Easy Escapes Travel. You can browse the website first (www.easyescapestravel.com) and then can fill out the information sheet (click the link for 'I want more info') and under Miscellaneous, u can put in her name and the info will be forwarded on to her. She is so great, I can't say enough about her. She's answered every crazy question I threw at her and had the best rates than any other TA. She stayed within my price range and didn't push anything on me. Good luck in your search.

sounds like a great deal... may be a stupid question, but is it 5,000 pp or total? cause many of the tahitian itineraries were about 3-5000 per person...

It sounds good to me. ( The price.) we were there for our honeymoon last year. There is one hotel in Tahiti that has black sand and we were told the hotel was not doing too well because no one wanted to go on the beach with the black sand becuase it was too hot to walk on. Our tour guide told us this. We went on a cruise of the French Polynesia, it was worth it becuase the food and entertainment was included, just a thought.

Was this trip via Princess Cruise Lines? If so, did you love it? We are looking at the French Polynesia cruise and would love some insight!

Ours is $5,000 total!!! The reason it isn't 3k or 4k more is b/c we don't have Bora Bora in our itinerary. We tried, but just couldn't see spending close to $10k!
