Going to see my 1st (and 2nd) Photographer tomorrow
Going to see Dan Wagner and Duet....
I haven't booked anything but my hall yet and I can't wait to knock the photography off my list.
Its really important to me to have a great photographer, but I dont really want to spend more than 3k on the whole package.
Any questions I might not know that I should make sure to ask???
Any advice would be helpful...I feel so clueless!

I am a Duet bride. Their work is awesome, their prices reasonable, and better yet, they are negotiable! After my first visit, I went back with an ideal package and price, and they took it.

We just had an appointment with Duet. Not sure if we're going to go with them though. Pricing was ok, photos looked good but there's a language barrior. Not sure if they'll understand what I'm looking for in photos. Good luck though!

you were JUST there? So was I ...I literally got home about 15 minutes ago--- didnt see anyone else there...???
There work was the best i have seen and i have seen MANY! Their prices???? they are great and negotiable...

i know soon2bmrsA and i believe dleeny are using dan wagner and are very impressed w/him so far. i believe he's pretty flexible on pricing as well.

So I saw Dan Wagner and Duet today....
Needless to say, Duet's prices are fabulous. However I couldnt understand half of what Eric what saying and I was very uncomfortable with that.
Dan Wagner was nice. Didnt love him. Didnt hate him. His prices are a little high, but not outrageous.
Now I am more confused than even before I started!

We felt that way about Duet at first too, but after thinking about it we decided that the work is fabulous, and the price was right. Also Eric doesn't take the pictures, and I have heard the photographers speak english much better than him. So we booked Duet for photo only.

Eric said that couple of the photographers speak English better than the others (and they all speak English better than him). Maybe you should ask to meet/speak to the photographers so you can see if you can understand them.

eric was so nice to us and flexible
the accent was hard to understand at times. however everything is written in the contract...so we know exactly what we are getting...also, he said the photographers speak better english than him...
i am so thrilled with our decision, but i could understand why some people may be hesitant

I'm a Duet bride too, and my FH & I were also worried about the language barrier. But Erice assured us that the photographers speak better english with less of an accent. And for some reason after seeing their work, I really trusted Eric & Duet to really capture the essence & every moment of our wedding day.

Most but not all speak Korean. I believe one of them is Japanese.

when I was looking I didn't find anything less then 4,000 for videography and photogrpahy I went with Glenmare they are great and do really nice work
