Place Card Question
Being I screwed up BIG time on my invitations, I don't want to screw these up. How do you address the place cards.
"Mr. Joseph and Linda Jones"
"Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jones"
"Joseph and Linda Jones"
Also, FH has a friend who lives with his girlfriend and I don't know her last name. This is one I got yelled at for because I put Mr. So and So with guest. I have to put some blame on my mom for that one. I don't want to insult her again and FH keeps forgetting to give me her last name. What should I do???
Mr. David Jones and Kim???

Re: Place Card Question
ie: Mr. and Mrs. James Walker
ie: Mr. James Walker and Guest
I know you don't want to offend anyone, but if you don't know their last name, just put guest.

Really? Couldn't I just write her first name only. I can't insult her again. I felt so bad about that last time.

I've gotten the "and guest" thing. I don't really see why it is such a big deal. But if you know her first name, I think you can write his name and her first name.

Doesn't each person get his/her own place card? I think it should be Mr. Joseph Jones and Ms./Mrs. Linda Jones. And you should find out this girl's last name. If FH isn't doing it, you should just call his friend yourself.
Personally, I don't like the Mrs. Joseph Jones thing. It makes the woman seem like she is owned by her husband.

Re: Place Card Question
I would rather if I were the guest: Mr. Matt "Jones" and Michele
even if you didnt know my last name, my 1st name is obviously more personal than GUEST
