North Carolina?
Me and Fh are considering moving to North Carolina. His parents want to go to and and are considering buying land to build houses.
Is anyone else buying a house in North Carolina? We are going to visit this summer and are planning on visiting Elizabeth county.
Anyone know of any nice areas in NC, with good school districts???????

Fh, me and my mom are moving there this summer.  We looked outside of Raleigh as FH will have a job commuting from Raleigh to Durham during the week.
We are looking to move to an apartment first in Cary or Morrisville then buy a house somewhere in the vicinity but not too close to Raleigh as we want a big piece of property.
There are a few girls here who are/have already moved there... we can have our own relocated LIW girls meet one day!

My sister and husband moved to Wilmington North Carolina about three years ago. They've now moved to New Jersey to be closer to the family since there is no family down there. I spent a lot of time visiting her down there though and it was such a great place. A lot of Northeners have relocated down there. Wilmington has beautiful beaches and a great downtown area. It's also close to Myrtle Beach. The people are very friendly too!

We are starting the process of moving south too. We were thinking about Raleigh or Atlanta but are now leaning more towards Raleigh. Our friends are heading down there this summer!!

Me too me too! Ok, not right away though. We plan to get a place on LI and hopefully the values will go up, then sell it off in a few years and put the profit down on a house in NC!
My uncle moved down there last year and next month another uncle and my cousin are moving down there too (and boy did they get a huge house and yard for $375K)!
