advice for wedding parties with big gaps for pictures

I was just in a wedding for a friend of mine in upstate NY (BTW - no where near LI standards) We were riding around in the limo for about 3 1/2 hours and we were all really hungry.

It would be a good idea to have some snacks in the limo for the wedding party - everyone had a good time, but it would have been nice.

I agree, similar thing happened to the BP in a wedding I was in, in FL except we weren't in the limo we got to go to the hall but they didn't feed us & we were starving--you had to see us we were shoving food down are throats we were so hungry and we had to ask the hall five times to bring us more food b/c we were eating it so fast. Since we were so early they weren't ready for us but eventually we were ok & had eaten enough.

This is good advice! My ceremony was at 4 and the CH wasnt until 8. I should have had some snacks - DH and I were popping asprin from headaches due to hunger!

Yes this is really good advice. My sister gave us the idea to have the catering hall make sure some of the CH food would be ready as soon as we arrived that day ( we went straight from the church and took pics there since it was winter) and it was the best thing for our bp!! everyone was soo hungry and so happy they could sit down and eat for a few min before the picture taking began!!!

I was in a wedding in February with a long break for photos between the church and reception and the groom packed a basket with sandwiches and snacks also chicken fingers for the kids. It was a good idea and kept everyone happy until the CH.
