THe DOE totally stinks!
I'm not trying to get on LI. I work in a pretty terrible area of Brooklyn, but I really like my school and my colleagues. Plus I live in Queens and have no plans to move to LI.
I see. I really like my school/colleagues as well. I am also in brooklyn but I can't complain about the area. My fh thinks we are going to have to live in suffolk (which i am not happy about b/c all of my family and his is in nassau). FH says if i get a job out here maybe we will have a better shot at nassau. I want the money but don't want to go through all the change etc. By the way, not like LI schools are knocking down my door trying to get me, LOL! sorry i just rambled and vented.

I hear you  If I knew I was going to live on LI, I would try to find a job there. My FH works in downtown Brooklyn, so with both of us in Brooklyn, it is not likely that we are going to leave Queens anytime soon.

Well, since I work a 12-month program my official last day is the 2nd week of August!! It feels so far away...compared to June
