Spin Off to "TEACHERS" thread: Last Day of School?
When is your last day of school? Some of you only have20 days to go?
My last day is June 28th....today was the last day of the Afterschool Program, and Saturday Academy ends this Saturday.

last day with 8th graders is the 17th- they dont come back last day because they graduate
and real last day is the 20th
we were suppossed to get out on 15th- damn snow days!

My school's last day isJune 28th but MY last day is June 27th. FH and I are going on our first vacation toegther to Secrets Capri Rivera Maya in Mexico on the 28th. We booked this months before we even got engaged. I will post a review as soon as we get back.

I also teach reading, so I stop taking my kids 2 weeks before that so I can test !

Unfortunately I teach in a day care center....their Pre-K program.... and we happen to be open year round. My last day for my Pre-Schoolers is the end of August and then I start right up with my new group. Lucky me. We never get a break. I get off main holidays and one week off during the Xmas break!! I'm dying for a vacation and my next one will most likely be for my honeymoon (well after Xmas time)....ughhh!! But I guess it's alright because the money keeps coming on in!!

THe DOE totally stinks!
I'm not trying to get on LI. I work in a pretty terrible area of Brooklyn, but I really like my school and my colleagues. Plus I live in Queens and have no plans to move to LI.
