travel car seats
for those of you that have the travel strollers/car seat, at what age di your child grow out of it. Jake is almost 6 months old and is 27 inches long and my graco/snug holds up to 26 inches.
Second question, what type of car seat did you buy? I am lookng on purchasing the Britax Roundabout.

I had the Peg infant seat and Andrew only used that for 3-4 months before he was too big for it! We then bought the Britax Marathon, which is a tad bigger than the Roundabout. I love it! I purchased it online and paid less than $200 with no tax or shipping costs! Totally beats the $249+ they want in the baby stores!

Same situation for my son. When we transitioned him from the infant carrier to the Marathon, it took him about a week to get used to it (he would fuss when I first put him in it). After that week things have been great.

same here marissa was about 3 or 4 months when we took her out of the infant carseat carrier then wentto the britax marathon she loves it so much more room

Emily was four months old when she outgrew her infant seat. We have the Britax roundabout also, she loves it and so does Mommy. It is so much better on my back!!
