If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

where would you go?

I am helping plan a bachelorette party for a friend on LI, but most of her bridesmaids, including me, are out of state, and unfamilar with the area. Everyone attending is over 21, and we would like to party, but nothing too too raunchy. The party would be over the summer, but I am no sure how many people. If you could answer these two questions for me it would be most appreciated!!

1. If money were no object, where would you want to have go for your bachelorette party?

2. Reality!- Money needs to be considered (though no one is super poor), so where in the LI/NYC would you love to go.

I figured most brides have an idea of what they wish their bachelorette party would be, so share them here! Be as specific as you want. Really any information would be helpful. Thanks everyone.

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

Take a Limo to the city and have dinner with the girls and then cruise around the city stopping wherever we wanted to. Karaoke would be a must and I would just want to have fun with my friends and my 2 sisters (also friends and MOH's).

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

I would definitely want to go to Vegas too. It would be nice to get away for once before my wedding (haven't had a true vacation in years! and won't even be going on a real honeymoon after the wedding).

As for realistically, I just don't know. I haven't thought about it enough yet.

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

If money were no object, I would want to go to South Beach or the Keys. Keeping budget in mind, I would want to go to dinner at a fun place in the city and then have a limo drive us around to a bunch of clubs.

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

Budget unlimited - I have to agree with Christine and head to Vegas...that would be the ultimate for me!

Since budget is an issue, I have no idea. I am currently in the middle of planning my own and we're all clueless. We may do dinner and a show at Lips or a vineyard afternoon. Don't know!

If it was entirely up to me I would have to say a winery tour on the North Fork of LI. I love it out East, so calm and pretty.

If money were no object, I'd say a weekend rental in fire island or the hamptons

Money in consideration, a night on the town in NYC.

Budget friendly - Night out boozing in long beach. Its a great spot in the summer months!

Good luck and kudos for being such a thoughtful bridesmaid!!

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

You have to consider the bride. As much as I love the spa, I don't want to do that for my bachelorette party. I want to go out and do some partying!!!! As the other bride mentioned my first choice would be VEGAS baby!!!!!!!! but my BMs cant even cough up the money to throw me a shower withoug arguing, so I will assume that vegas for me is out. I believe we are going into the city by limo and going to hit some crazy clubs. But I love to gamble so even Atlantic City would work for me. On the other hand I love karaoke so the girls might consider that option as well. One BM has discussed having a stripper which I wouldn't mind so much I'm sure FH's BM is going to have one for him so what's fair is fair right????!

Thanks girls. Keep the the ideas coming. Vegas would rock, but I think we can keep that in the dream catagory for right now

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

if money and time were non issues, I would want a day at the spa for all of us (including manicures & pedicures) then a limo ride to dinner in some fabulous restaurant and then to a comedy club.

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

I'm doing a day at the spa with my MOH and friend. Then we're doing Lucky Chengs with a few other people. I will be in bed by 12.
That's exactly what I want and what we are doing. I would have prefered more at the spa but they could all make it.

Also any information on a spa on Long Island.

What about the Hamptons? Anyway to make that affordable? How would you get around to different clubs or wineries?

Thanks!

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

This is cheesy but I'm actually doing what I want to do. We're having a spa day for the girls and then everyone is going out for dinner. Everything will be fun but relaxing. I just wish that my OOT town bridal party members could make it though - one of them being my favorite cousin

Re: If YOU could plan your OWN bachelorette party

As far as the Hamptons goes...get cabs or of course, if you can afford a limo.
I go go the Beach Bar every year and stay next door at Allen's Acres...not the best place but the convenience of walking home at 4am from the bar/club rocks!
